ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Woman Vomits Padlock And Delivers Turtle in Lagos

It sounds like tales by moonlight but it is indeed a verifiable fact that a woman was delivered of a live
turtle and a padlock in the presence of thousands of worshipers during a church service in a Lagos
church.

Pastors In Politics?... ...But Why?

Christianity since it's introduction to Africa and particularly Nigeria has spread like wildfire. The number of churches that have sprung up in the last fifty years in Nigeria is alarming; different churches with their separate, albeit converging traditions. In fact, churches seem to grow faster than maize seeds in Nigeria today. Howbeit, there's an interesting new trend that seems to have eaten deep into Christian clerics which I really am not comfortable with.

Government Of Sardists — Femi Fani-Kayode Laments

On the night of 12th December 2015 in the city of Zaria, Kaduna state, Sheik El Zakzaky, the leader of the 10 million-strong Shia muslim community in Nigeria, was shot, brutalized and dumped in a wheelbarrow. He barely escaped with his life but sadly, according to Iranian government sources and the New York Times, his wife, two of his sons and no less than one thousand of his shia muslim followers were not so lucky.

......and you say Islam is not violent?

The world in the last two decades has witnessed a rapid rise in the spate of terrorism and violent attacks. These attacks which most times, occur unannounced condemn a lot of lives and properties. From the devastating 9/11 attack at the World Trade Centre to the more recent Paris massacre, the spread and intensity of these terrorist attacks are continuously on the rise.

Abuja is a lie!

Nigeria is regarded by many of her citizens as a jungle; a nation that lacks basic infrastructure, social security and amenities. This stance can hardly be opposed when you look at the deplorable conditions of major cities in Nigeria. From Lagos to Port Harcourt, Kano to Enugu; Ibadan to Owerri, Kaduna to Calabar and many other cities in the country, you find an association of bad roads, dilapidated hospitals and schools, rickety buildings, cruel means of transportation, hyper inflation, weak security systems among others.

Nigerian pastors are worse than yahoo boys.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5........so I kept counting on and on, the number of churches on my street as I walked back home from church on Sunday. Every day,  the number of keeps rising; churches littered every where. Then I begin to wonder; what really attracts people to opening churches?

WOE UNTO UNIBEN

Woe unto UNIBEN
Let thy name rot in history's den
For you glory in the greatness of thy gates
And pride in the many preys lured by thy bait

Oliseh is a downgrade on Keshi.

The FIFA window opened yet again to allow players all over the world take part in National assignments. Friday was the turn of the Supper Eagles to trade tackles with the men from Swaziland (a not-too-popular footballing nation) in the CAF World Cup Qualifiers and with the calibre of players in the rank of the Eagles, you would have expected the Swazi game to be a walk in the park for the Nigerians. But guess what? Sunday Oliseh's boys couldn't find the back of the net after nighty minutes! They couldn't get a single goal, talk more of a win.

SMILE

When your head loses it's grip and fumbles
And your feet are made slow by life's troubles
Smile, not for a while
But till all of it is past.

What's up with Naija ladies and facial make-ups?

Many times when I log on to Facebook, Instagram, BBM and other such social networking platforms, I come across several pictures of young ladies stuffed with loads of make-up powders with faces painted in rainbow. And I'm like.. . "What's up with Naija ladies and facial make-ups? You see, the cleavage to facial make-ups in Nigeria these days is becoming a thing of scare to young men like me and so I had to cry out since I have yet the voice.

We do the write!

Over the years in my life as a write-activist, I've received countless number of advices from friends, family members and co-writers saying "Dubem, your write-ups are really great. You should start a blog." Well,  trust me to always nod this small head of mine like a full blown nerd.
